Systems Engineer Recruiting for Defense and Deep Tech

Systems engineers are the connective discipline of defense technology: the people who own requirements, architecture, integration, and verification across a program's life. Systems engineering demand runs through every defense market at once. Missile defense programs in Huntsville, satellite programs in El Segundo and Seattle, naval and unmanned work in San Diego, acquisition programs in Dayton, and startup platforms in Austin all compete for the same discipline, which is why the role appears in nearly every market ALAC covers. The pool is further narrowed by three filters stacked on top of each other: clearance eligibility, program experience, and increasingly MBSE fluency as the Department of Defense pushes digital engineering across its programs. Senior systems engineers with all three are recruited continuously and rarely apply to postings.
