3. How We Collect It
We collect data through three channels:
Directly from you
When you submit a contact form, a candidate intake form, or reach out to us by email or phone.
Automatically through the site
Our web hosting infrastructure and analytics tools collect technical data as you browse. No tracking occurs before you land on our site.
From third-party sources
We may receive contact information and professional profiles from LinkedIn, professional referrals, and other public professional networks, strictly in a business-to-business context.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use personal data for the following purposes only:
- Responding to your inquiries and requests
- Providing recruiting and talent advisory services
- Business development and follow-up with potential clients
- Site analytics to understand how we can improve
- Legal compliance and record-keeping
We do NOT sell personal information. We do NOT use data for targeted advertising, behavioral profiling, or automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
5. Candidate Data
Candidates who submit profiles to ALAC are treated as a distinct data category with heightened protections. This section governs how we handle all recruiting-context personal data.
What we collect
- Resume, work history, education, skills, and certifications
- Compensation expectations and job preferences
- Security clearance status and adjudication history (for defense roles)
How we handle it
- Candidate profiles are submitted to employers only with your explicit prior consent: we never speculatively send your information
- Security clearance information is treated as sensitive data and is shared only with clients where it is directly relevant, and only with your consent
- We will never misrepresent your background, inflate your qualifications, or submit you for roles you have not approved
Your rights as a candidate
You may request to access, correct, or delete your candidate profile at any time. We will fulfill all requests within 30 days. Contact: adrian.munoz@alachrsolutions.com with the subject line "Privacy Rights Request."
7. Data Sharing
We share personal data only in the following limited circumstances:
Service Providers
Hosting (Vercel), analytics (Google), and email service providers. Data processing agreements are in place. These providers may not use your data for their own purposes.
Client Companies
Candidate profiles are shared with prospective employers only after the candidate has given explicit, informed consent for that specific submission.
Legal Requirements
We will disclose personal data if required by law, court order, or valid legal process, and will notify affected individuals where permitted to do so.
Business Transfers
If ALAC HR Solutions is acquired or merged, affected individuals will be notified before any change in data practices takes effect.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer personal information to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes: ever.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal data for the minimum time needed to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected.
- Contact form submissions: 2 years from last contact
- Candidate profiles: 3 years from last active engagement
- Analytics data: 14 months (Google Analytics 4 default)
- Email correspondence: 3 years
- Legal and compliance records: as required by applicable law
After the applicable retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymized. You may request early deletion at any time (see Section 10).
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss, including:
- HTTPS / TLS encryption on all data in transit
- Access controls: personal data is accessible only to authorized personnel with a legitimate need
- Third-party data processors are contractually required to maintain equivalent safeguards
No security system is 100% impenetrable. In the event of a suspected data breach, we will notify affected individuals and relevant authorities in accordance with applicable law. If you believe your data has been compromised, contact us immediately at adrian.munoz@alachrsolutions.com.
10. Your Privacy Rights
The following rights apply to all individuals whose personal data we hold, regardless of location. We do not discriminate against any person for exercising these rights.
- Right to Know: what personal data we hold about you and how it is used
- Right to Access: a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to Correct: inaccurate or incomplete personal data
- Right to Delete: your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements
- Right to Opt Out: of the sale or sharing of personal data (we do not sell or share data, but this right is preserved)
- Right of Non-Discrimination: exercising any privacy right will not affect the quality of services you receive
California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have all of the rights listed above. Additionally, you may request access to personal data we collected about you on or after January 1, 2022. We will respond within 45 days as required by the CPRA, with one 45-day extension available if needed.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We honor GPC signals as a valid opt-out request under applicable state privacy laws. Because we do not sell or share personal data, GPC signals are acknowledged and logged but do not change our underlying data practices.
How to Submit a Rights Request
Email adrian.munoz@alachrsolutions.com with the subject line "Privacy Rights Request" and describe the right you wish to exercise. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling the request.
11. Children's Privacy
This website is directed exclusively to professionals, business leaders, and companies. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18.
If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a minor, we will delete that data immediately. If you believe we have received data from a minor, please contact us at adrian.munoz@alachrsolutions.com.
12. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent revision.
- Material changes will be communicated to affected individuals by email where possible
- Non-material changes (grammar, formatting, clarifications) will be updated silently
- Continued use of our website or services after an update constitutes acknowledgment of the revised policy
